Pioneer Village 70th Anniversary Schedule
Saturday, June 10
- 9:00 AM – Museum Opens– live demonstrations through the day*
- 9:00 AM – Scavenger Hunt
- 10:00 AM – Museum Collections Tour
- Noon – Food & Refreshments in courtyard provided by our local Boy Scouts
- Noon – Old Fashioned Games in the courtyard
- 1:00 PM – Welcome/highlights by Pioneer Village Management & Volunteer Recognition
- 1:30 PM – Sweet Adelines: Nebraska Pride Chorus performance
- 3:00 PM – Melinda Ferree’s Tribute to Patsy Cline
- 4:00 PM – Vintage Cars Tour
- 6:00 PM – Museum Closes
Sunday, June 11
- 9:00 AM – Museum Opens – live demonstrations through the day*
- 9:00 AM – Pancake Breakfast in the courtyard
- 11:00 AM – Church service in St. Paul Lutheran Church on the green (max attendance of 75)
- 11:30 AM – Food trucks with refreshments
- Noon – Music in the courtyard
- Noon – Old Fashioned Games in the courtyard
- 2:00 PM – Agriculture Equipment Tour
- 4:00 PM – Aircraft Tour
- 6:00 PM – Museum Closes
* Throughout both days there will be live demonstrations of broom making and blacksmithing. Museum hosts will be interpreting the steam locomotive, vintage cars, agricultural equipment, the church and various other locations.
Pioneer Village is also working with area civic groups and schools to arrange other vendors, refreshments, and demonstrations. Additions and changes will be made to the website as they are confirmed.
